We thought she wanted to kiss the bear-bear

She really wanted to eat it up!! Penny's reached the stage when she drools quite a bit and is eager to put things into her mouth. Should have guessed her intentions with the bear (which we hope will be her "transitional object" for her sleep training coming up in a few short months!) by what we've observed of her recent favourite activity in the Baby Bjorn carrier...

Or, as I often tell Penny, in true Singaporean fashion, "Sleepy sleep. No need to stay up to play with Mommy one." Here's one of her yawning in one of the dresses sent over by our beloved home church, ABCC.

And here's a sample of the simple lullaby ("Sleep, Baby, Sleep" by Ron Hamilton) I sing to Penny each night as she prepares for bed. No, she still doesn't 'sleep through the night', and wakes to feed 3-4 times but that's alright. She will do so when she's ready. May that time be soon! Meanwhile, we'll just keep trusting our Lord for strength and joy.
