First Tooth, Mamamama!
Pipa has truly and surely cut her first tooth which is finally more obvious. Even with this one tooth, she is able to eat more foods such as tuna carrot pancakes, and really bite off sweet potato, bananas, bread and biscuits. Yay! I'm excited about preparing more finger foods for her. Like the younger Pepe (and in contrast to the more prim and proper Paulina), she loves to put things into her mouth and sucking on whatever's near her mouth. This means that she will more likely be a more independent feeder, but we'll have to watch her more closely, what with her sisters' Playmobil and other small toys around.
It now also truly and surely seems that Pipa's baby days are numbered, and that she will soon be a toddler. She's saying "mama" more, screams excitedly and loudly while playing, and is often trying to crawl over to anything she thinks she can pull herself up by... and also often terrorizes her sisters by zooming around the house in her trusty walker, flexing her grabbing fingers along the way!
Something cute from an agitated Polly while playing with the Mrs Goodbee dollhouse when Pipa grabs the mama doll: "Her always wants to be the mama!" While this may be a ridiculous suggestion right now, Pipa's growing up so fast it might not be so... even before we know it... and we'll all be happy to have more playmates in the house!
